About :With this quartet “of wood”, piano-double bass-congas and flutes, Anne Wolf offers a particular sound; warm and groovy, festive one might almost say!
She deliberately has left her own repertoire to explore freer structures through carefully selected standards and pieces by composers like: Stevie Wonder, A.C. Jobim, Michel Petrucciani, Wayne Shorter, Charles Loos, Steve Swallow…etc. In this Quartet, Anne wolf meets again the famous percussionist Chris Joris whom she played with for over ten years, Sal La Rocca (bass player with, a.o. Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine, Lee Konitz or Vaya con dios) joined by the fantastic top level soloist Stefan Bracaval for a brand new collaboration!
A live recorded CD is released at MOGNO MUSIC in March 2016.

She plays as well alone as with jazz, pop, and world musicians. In 2001, she released her first trio album. She won the Golden Django for best new talent in 2002 (although she had already appeared on several recordings).
Wolf has recorded with Sttellla, Frédéric Ruymen, Citizen Jane, Kendigo, Manu Hermia, Ben N’Gabo, Cheiro de Choro, and The Big Day.
